How Our Home Care Agency Started
In 2019, the founder of GOD HEALING HANDS, LLC stepped into the role of caregiver when her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and home health support was not available to them. While continuing to work and manage her own responsibilities, she cared for her mother through her illness, helping her remain comfortable, respected, and able to live according to her wishes. When her mother's cancer returned more aggressively in October 2021 and she passed away, the experience gave the founder a deeper understanding of what families face when someone they love needs assistance with everyday care.
Her experience taught her that caregiving extends beyond daily tasks and requires patience, compassion, dignity, listening, sacrifice, and genuine human connection, inspiring her to create GOD HEALING HANDS, LLC.
Today, her mother's journey remains at the heart of the agency, shaping its commitment to dependable home care rooted in service, integrity, respect, and a faith-inspired approach that welcomes individuals and families from all backgrounds and beliefs.
As the agency grows, GOD HEALING HANDS, LLC plans to expand into North Carolina, Virginia, and the Virgin Islands, subject to completing all required licensing, registrations, payer enrollment, staffing, and other regulatory requirements in each location.
